Parsons

Also ich habe mich mit meiner Freundin die Nana in Parsons für einen Sommer Kurs angemeldet, den Kurs für "Photo & Language in Paris"
Here sind die Kurs details..

Students will be immersed in an intense French language course in the morning at the Sorbonne, providing them with a ground work for interpreting and navigating the Parisian environment, and will develop their photographic skills in the afternoon in an English taught workshop at Parsons Paris. The photography workshop provides a general introduction to the fundamentals of photographic practice and theory with daily darkroom work in film developing and printing techniques. Shooting is done using traditional black and white film. Students need an analog 35 mm camera with manual settings.
A broad range of the field of photography: Documentary, Fine Arts, Fashion, Photojournalism, Documentary, etc. will be explored through critiques, lectures, seminal texts and the development of a body of work that will guide students towards a photographic vocabulary of their own. The course explores the extremely rich historical link between Paris and photography, while surveying the contemporary photographic scene in this vibrant city, where cutting edge fairs like Paris Photo are held. Paris is a premium resource for this course with visits to the Musée Européenne de la Photographie, la Fondation Cartier Bresson, la Maison Rouge, and Jeu de Paume among others.
